14 WORLD RUGBY YEAR IN REVIEW 2015Education is key and World Rugby’s Recognise and Remove online concussion education modules were completed by a record number of people by the end of 2015 with 33,000 members of the public, medics and the playing community undertaking the interactive modules.Available in 11 languages at Concussion is a major sporting and societal topic and the promotion of best-possible education, prevention, management and research strategies continues to be a major priority for World Rugby, collaborating with leading concussion experts to support the protection of players at all levels.RECORD NUMBERS RECEIVE CONCUSSION EDUCATIONENGAGING THE RUGBY FAMILY | NEWSwww.playerwelfare.worldrugby.org, concussion education completions included 13,562 members of the public, 5,129 completions by non-rugby doctors, 2,954 completions by match-day doctors and 1,591 completions by elite team medical staff, underscoring rugby’s commitment to change concussion culture.
